University of Turbat Resolves Key Faculty Development Initiatives in Its sixth HRD Committee Meeting

The University of Turbat (UoT) convened its sixth Human Resource Development (HRD) Committee meeting, chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan and attended by distinguished members including Dr. Muhammad Tahir Hakeem, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, Dr. Adeel Ahmed, Dean, Faculty of Business and Economics, Dr. Muzaffir Hussain, Dean, Faculty of Law, Registrar Ganguzar Baloch, Director Finance Shabeek Syed, and Dr. Irshad Mayar, Chairman, Department of Natural and Basic Sciences.

Addressing the session, VC Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan emphasized that empowering faculty is fundamental to establishing UoT as a premier institution. He reaffirmed university's commitment to supporting scholars pursuing advanced studies and research within country or abroad, saying that faculty development directly improves educational quality and advances the UoT Strategic Plan 2026-30 goals.
According to the university spokesperson, the committee reviewed ongoing faculty development programs and scholarship linkages. Members resolved key academic and administrative matters, including the issuance of NoCs for domestic and overseas higher studies, extraordinary leave requests, rejoining approvals following study completions, and other academic and administrative affairs.
